ChefTemii - Nigerian Restaurant & Catering

I purchased a meal through Too good to go. I haven't had Nigerian food before but this is really good! The rice was very spicy but I actually like it better than Mexican rice. The chicken was well done too. I may have to convince my family to try this, I would hate to have to wait until they leave town again to get more.

Hands down the best African dining experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, the warmth hit us like a Lagos breeze. The lady that received us was so kind and helped us with our order, explaining every dish. The owner (I’m assuming the legendary Chef Temii herself) greeted us with the biggest smile and treated us like family returning home after years away. That level of genuine hospitality is rare these days. Now, the food… oh my goodness. Where do I even start? • The jollof rice is straight-up sorcery: smoky, perfectly spiced, with that irresistible bottom crust (pot of gold). I could eat buckets of it. • Egusi soup with pounded yam? Life-changing. Rich, nutty, packed with flavor, and the pounded yam was silky-smooth, like it was made by angels. • We also tried the puff-p

Owner and her son were extremely sweet and welcoming. They took the time to explain all the dishes I inquired about since I’m new to Nigerian food. I had the Goat pepper soup and jollof rice, WHEWW! I’m ready to come back 😋! Also had a taste of the Egusi soup & fufu, it was delicious !! In my opinion, the menu was affordable. I’m happy to have chosen this place & I can’t wait to try other things

WOW..... I know Chef Temii is Nigerian but dammit man she's "Flexin like a Texan" with this meal.... The chicken had a crisp to it as well as a nice spicy kick. The rice was flavorful, had a hint of sweetness and the coleslaw complimented the dish bringing the spice and sweetness together putting my senses in a flavorful, harmonious dance, causing my feet to shuffle like an adolescent teen eating her favorite childhood meal.... The family will be making a return trip very soon.... Go try this place. *UPDATE** As stated, I returned, and again, I wasn't disappointed.... Chef Temii was professional since day 1. I contacted her about 2 months before my wedding with all the details and by the time of the event she even contacted servers for me. The servers were very respectful and helpful. I heard nothing but great things about the food. I ordered two pans of fish and it was gone before me or hubby could try it…the chicken and rices were delicious. The price was unbeatable for a part of 100. Thank you again.
