Absolutely the best sushi! We gladly drive half an hour just to eat here and love bringing our friends and family along. I’ve tried countless sushi spots around North Jersey, and this one is hands down the best. The service is always warm and friendly, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. I don’t have a single complaint. Highly, highly recommend! if this review convinces you to give it a try, I’m confident you’ll love it just as much as we do!

Just have to give a big shout out to Chef Chen’s Sushi, my husband and I have already been four times in two weeks—it’s easily the best sushi we’ve had in the Montclair area. The fish is always super fresh, and the prices are better than a lot of other places. Staff is friendly and attentive. Honestly, wish we could eat here every day! Very happy this place opened. Firstly, family run, and exceptional people. All so kind and pleasant. Love being around them Second, the sushi is exceptional. Very high quality. You can really taste it and tell Lastly. Very clean place. This is now my go to Only note id ask management. Don't charge for spicy mayo if possible.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was impressively fast, and the atmosphere is charming and cozy. My fiancé and I stopped by after visiting the brewery next door, which made it the perfect spot for dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back! Ps. Order a bunch of sushi rolls and you get a sushi boat!!!

This is our go to place once per week when we meet at the train station. Food is always fresh and delicious and service friendly. They serve their soup piping hot which I love. Will be back next week!
