Chef Cao's

Very very flavorful foods. Spicy deep-fried chicken is a must-try. Spicy vegetable shrimp, beef sizzling, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice are all excellent. Egg drop soup is also great. Price is very convenient.

The food is extremely good, they listen to your order specifically very carefully so that they get it right... I say that because I am very picky with certain vegetables that I don't want to be included lol And they make it right every time.

Chef Cao’s is an oasis among the mediocrity that is dining in College Station. When I tell you that the Mongolian Beef is perfect….. too many places serve this dish with mushy beef. Here the meat is slightly crispy, but still tender. I ordered the lomein, which had a good flavor and was the perfect portion size. Egg rolls are light and crispy. Not the fat, greasy things you will find elsewhere. There’s a Jack in Box nearby if you want that. Service was prompt and attentive. My drink never went unfilled. I can’t wait to bring friends here. A truly rare gem in this city.

The meal prices are reasonable. The food is generally okay. However, don't expect a warm friendly environment. How difficult is it to be warm and welcoming to people who enter and patronize your business [rhetorical]. If others patrons comment that they are friendly based on their experience, what makes them friendly towards some guests and unfriendly towards others? Oh well, I just wanted to share my experience - I've visited 3-4 times and the customer service is the same each time. There are a few other similar restaurant options in the area with equally tasting foods but a friendlier and welcoming vibe.
