Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

I don't normally review chains, but this one was below average so I wanted to share. Right off the bat it was a bad start. Hostess acted as if this was the worst day of her life, sad face, no words except "2?". We didn't even get a "follow me". Server was slow at start so I ordered my own appetizer on the table tablet. We ordered cheese bites, Shrimp and chicken key west, and buffalo chicken wrap. Food came fast, looked good, tasted good, and we took half home. What brought the score down, the bus boy cleaning the tables, had his pants hanging down so far i could see half his under wear. The tablet for ordering and paying was sticky. The drink menu had food in it. Lastly, the croissants were flat, not fluffy. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up.

Wonderful dining experience. The appetizers were very good. The main courses really exceeded our expectations. The country fried steak was amazing. The steak tips were prepared perfectly. The pain killer was so good! Unfortunately the service was slow and the waitress did not check up on us for refills or other items we might of needed.

The manager (I didn’t catch his name but I lighter complexion man with a short hair cut and glasses) was phenomenal. Initially the service was lacking it was a busy night and the waiter had other tables to wait on however service is service. I had a word with the manager about my service and he was able to rectify the problem. He was attentive and made sure I got the service I came for and I appreciate that . Also I liked that he helped the waiter with his tables instead of Reprimanding him❤️ this is my usual spot for dine in and pick up the food is always good and the drinks as well I’ll always recommend this place!

Let me just say this would be great spot for a date or whether your meeting your girls for drinks and dinner. The food and drinks are reasonable prices. The food is amazing. Also they have some melt in your mouth honey butter croissants those are off the chain. If you're looking for a good dinner spot for a family night this is the place. They also have a kids menu. All of their food is amazing no complaints.

She was attentive without being intrusive, observant of every detail, and genuinely warm in her approach. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask — refilling drinks at just the right time, checking in thoughtfully, and ensuring everything arrived perfectly.
