Checkers

Ive always love checkers since I was a kid and this location has always been a favor for people around here. There's a large outdoor sitting area. That's nice for lunch during the summer. Every time I go here, no matter what time of day the staff is always extremely friendly and put out the food quick too. You also have to try the fries !

I was pretty excited to stop by, since I grew up purchasing their fries from the store. They did not disappoint! The entire place is so cool looking from the inside to the outside. The employees were great with my order, and were quick to get it out. (I had customizations and they were patient with me to get my order correct.) The food was awesome, its so much better to have what they make, fresh! I got a "Big buford" and the bun was so soft and fresh the whole thing was delicious. I am definitely coming back here, and bringing some friends!!

Every time I come to this place I wait online in the drive threw for like a minimum of 15 minutes after ordering. The last two times I had NO one in front of me when I arrived and I still waited 20 minutes. I could've ordered a pizza and got it in less time. Besides that the food is usually good and you get a ton of it for not too much money.

Accommodating late night was happy to see you after they were open. Food came out quick and hot. Much appreciated.

TLDR: They do not provide the amount of food they say they will when purchasing. I hate to give a bad review since Checkers is just about my favorite fast food spot and a bunch of them closed recently but they are dishonest. This is the half pound chicken bites box. I’ve ordered this a couple times before and every time I’ve been unpleasantly surprised by how little chicken I got so this time I actually brought it home and weighed it. Lo and behold, the amount of chicken is nearly 50% less than what it is supposed to be. It’s supposed to be 8 oz of chicken and they give a little more than 4. Given the premium prices Checkers is charging, this is really not acceptable. I don’t know if or when I will be back even though, for fast food, the food itself is pretty good and they’re open late.
