8/30/25 Delivery The Breakfast Sausage (Salchicha) was a bit spicy, Knish (Potato and Onion), and Hamon and Jamon Y Queso (Ham and Cheese) were seasoned well and all tasted uniquely different. The problem was the crust was not flakey as advertised. It was extremely dense and at $5.00 apiece these are very expensive for these tiny items.

(Located inside Transfer Co. Food Hall) Ordered the carne empanada + hot sauce. I made the mistake of only ordering one, just to try it out…don’t be like me, order a few! Super friendly staff and delicious food! Already seasoned beef, but the hot sauce took it to another level. Absolutely must try!

After grabbing dinner at Chhote's, my wife and I picked up a stash of empanadas for a late night snack at our hotel: beef, brisket and ham & cheese. It's tough to pick a favorite out of the three. I'd say it's neck and neck with the beef and ham & cheese, which I wasn't expecting to be as good as it was. The chimichurri sauce is magic, a perfect component to enhance the flavor.

Stopped here when we went to Burial next door. Ordered takeout for four empanadas but only received three. I was charged for all four. I asked for two chicken, one spinach, and one ham and cheese, but got two spinach and one chicken. The ham and cheese empanada was completely missing. On top of that, the empanadas were already packaged before I even paid, which makes it clear they weren’t freshly made. Taste was okay, but not great. I personally prefer Naked Empanadas, much better flavor and good service.

A quick bite at the right price togo! The empanadas are a decent size but the fillings is where they shine. At $3 for a empanada you can try a variety without breaking the bank. They are located in the Transfer Co. Downtown but don't worry there is plenty of free parking. I would still suggest going in non-peak times. There is plenty of seating inside and out with social distancing. You can order ahead for pick up. Touchless pay and hand sanitizer available. Worth stopping! I recommend the pulled pork with the Chimichurri Sauce.
