Chavo's Street Tacos

To tell you the truth, I heard about this place from somebody, and I decided to give it a try, but was I too disappointed. I paid $44 for 2 plates of street tacos, rice, and beans. That was so small it made me laugh. The beans tasted like they were out of a can. The tacos had no seasoning or flavor on them whatsever they just tasted plain very disgusting. I don't honestly really know how they have a 4.7 rating with the food tasting so horrible. I mean, come on, put some flavor on that taco. 22 dollars a meal was ridiculous. The Barbacoa I ordered was very dry as heck. Nasty. Maybe it's because I'm used to TEXAS TACOS. I definitely need to call a friend and have them come out here and start a taco shop. Yum! Yum! Yum! By far the best place to get some amazing Birria Tacos!! Absolutely delicious!! Upon arriving, the staff greeted us. They checked on us as we ate and offered us a couple of samples of their yogurt drink…the Walnut one was very tasty!! The place was super clean and organized. If you haven’t been, you should definitely give them a try! This visit was my first time and I’m super impressed!

Delicious local family tacos! The cucumber lemonade and horchata were amazing. The birria was fantastic and the green chili was delicious.

I was feeling hungry and randomly stopped in for some take-out, and I'm so glad I did! Everything was delicious. The meats were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The dishes had just the right amount of spices and heat -- a lingering smolder that complemented the savory flavors perfectly, without being either too weak or overpowering. The menu has a wide assortment of meats to choose from. I had a bit of choice paralysis, but the guy at the cashier made some great recommendations. They also have a photo board, so you can order based on what looks good to you. The huaraches was was something new for me, and I loved it. A thick, fluffy masa base topped with meat and cheese.
