Went in and saw a beautiful cake and asked if they could make a duplicate in a different size. They did that for me with a 24-hour notice. Plus, they said it would not hold up long outside in the heat, BUT it heald up beautifully for 5 hours and still tasted delicious the very next day. Plus it was the best price compared to other places.

DO NOT believe any bad reviews on this establishment. Everyone has bad days here and there. The product speaks volumes for itself, UNPRECEDENTED!! SIMPLY DELICIOUS 😋 😍 I'M SOLD. I frequent them weekly. I drive from Brentwood because I'm from Hayward and they are the best! I've tried every pan and cake. I've NEVER been disappointed. Thank you for being you.

The staff at this place are incredibly rude and provide horrible customer service. There's only one employee in the mornings who is kind—her name is Alejandra—but the rest of the employees are very rude, especially the morning manager. He is completely unprofessional and extremely aggressive when a customer raises a concern. Instead of handling it calmly, he immediately starts yelling and arguing, which is entirely unprofessional. It's a shame because Chavez Supermarket used to be a great place to shop, but the poor customer service has gotten so bad that people don’t want to shop there anymore.
