Chata's Brunchies Cafe

Drove in from Chico and arrived in at 835 am they had 5 tables and no one was eating. We waited 45 minutes for our food. The French toast was good but the biscuits and gravey were cold for 2 of us. They for got the potatos on one order and the eggs on the other and took 10 min to get them out. Was not impressed. In Responce to the owner. There was no misunderstanding of the menu. It clearly states, “Make it a breakfast with potatoes and eggs for $12.99,” which is exactly what we ordered. I specifically told our waitress that we both wanted potatoes and eggs — one order scrambled and one over easy. Please don’t assume that we misread the menu. We were very clear in our request. If I may offer a suggestion, it may help to staff more appropriately for a Saturday morning rush, or consider

Husband and I found this place when we were in town looking for a place to eat. Food is amazing, I got the loaded pork bowl and it was absolutely great! They even have a little pantry area of non perishable items for people to take if they need them. Great food, great service, we absolutely will be back!

Always a good time here. First time I ever went I had my dog with me and made him wait in the car, I asked if they had outdoor seating and they told me that unfortunately they didn’t. It was all good I just explained to them that I had my dog with me and figured it would’ve been nice but it’s all koo. The next time I went, they had a little table outside with chairs just because I had randomly asked them. It was just a really nice little thing to do. That said a lot to me about this place and the people here. Always super friendly, always smiling and the cook always KILLS IT! 🔥🔥🔥🤌🏾 my compliments to the chef. The chilaquiles and the Concha French toast are bomb 💣. This is the kind of place you have to check out, please support your local artist 🤙🏾

Great place. A team of sisters were running the restaurant on Sunday! Stop in and support them! They were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast burrito was outstanding! We arrive during a busy point in their day & they still made room for us & two other customers who came in about the same time. The restaurant was clean & provided the hometown, local experience.

Came here on Super Bowl Sunday. Tables were all dirty, waitress was rude, heard her say the F-word at least 5 times, and I had my kids with me. We were one of only two tables occupied, and it took forever for her to bring the check. She was more interested in conversing with her coworkers. I won’t be back if she still works here.
