Customer Reviews
Amazing front desk extremely affordable and quite friendly! We really loved the Pad Thai and the drunken noodles! This has to be one of our new favorite Asian places in Dallas out of many places we visited over the past 25 years!
Cute local spot with very friendly service. You order at the counter and pay, and then they bring out your food. The fried gyoza are very good and I definitely recommend trying them. I ordered the beef rice bowl and loved it. I also tried the drunken noodles, which were not my favorite. My husband got the chicken rice bowl and he loved it too. Overall, a great place for a quick and tasty meal.
Stop by and give a try. Since they are named for Hong Kong restaurant, so I order typical HK dishes, the flat noodle with beef, the wokhey is spot on, fragrance and good looking, a little bit lack of seasoning you will need to add some soy sauce in. Fried chicken is crispy with nice garlic smell but the flavor didn't get inside. Milk tea mixed with coffee another famous HK drink is ordinary. Atmosphere is neat with some HK decorations. Give them overall 4 stars.
Absolutely disgusting. Avoid. This is not Chinese food — it’s badly executed fake Chinese cuisine. The noodles were stuck together into a slimy, glue-like clump, which was honestly gross to look at and worse to eat. Everything tasted burnt and bitter, soaked in heavy, stale oil. The meat was dry and tough, and the seasoning made no sense at all. No flavor. No authenticity. No care. One of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. Strongly not recommended.
I’m admittedly not an expert in Hong Kong cuisine, so your mileage may vary, but we really enjoyed this place. It was a perfectly unpretentious place that reminds you of the basic premise of restaurants’ values that so many places have forgotten: modest, tasty, filling meals at a fair price in a cozy setting. The spicy pineapple basil fried rice was good, and the Hong Kong Style Baked Pork Chop Rice was even better. It wasn’t mind blowing, mind you, but that was not the expectation nor the promise. It certainly scratches an itch, and we’re excited to come back and try other options.
