Charred Oak Kitchen + Bar

We celebrated our anniversary brunch at Charred Oak and it was such a wonderful experience. Camille was our server and she was amazing. She was warm, attentive, and truly made the morning feel special for us. The blueberry bourbon smash was delicious and refreshing with the perfect balance of sweetness and smooth bourbon flavor. The shrimp and grits were outstanding. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It was the perfect spot to celebrate. Great food, great service, and such a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Charred Oak has officially earned a spot on my must-return list. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, upscale, and inviting. The service was top-tier — attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell the staff truly cares about making the experience special. The food? Amazing. Every dish came out seasoned perfectly, cooked with care, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in everything they serve. The drinks were just as impressive — smooth, balanced, and crafted like they know what they’re doing behind that bar. Whether you’re going for a date night, a celebration, or just treating yourself, Charred Oak is 100% worth it. Columbus needed a spot like this, and they delivered. Highly recommend!

I had dinner at Charred Oak this past Saturday. The good: parking was easy, we didn’t have to wait for a table, and the atmosphere was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and was blown away - they were quite literally the best shrimp and grits I’ve had. The grits were oh-so-creamy. The shrimp, Andouille sausage, and crawfish were cooked to perfection and were seasoned perfectly- it has good creole kick to them without overpowering the taste of the seafood/sausage. The bad: My wife unfortunately can’t eat many foods at the moment and ordered the chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were subpar - rubbery with over done batter.

We both had ribeyes. I added the crab and she added the grilled shrimp. Both were cooked perfectly and were amazing. I had the mac and cheese and she had the mashed potatoes. Both sides were seasoned perfectly. We tried the Philly steak egg rolls for our appetizer and they were really good. Good flavor and plenty of steak and cheese. Service was quick, polite, and prompt. Good atmosphere.

Omg ABBY truly amazing!!! Superb energy and personality! Great recommendations even while busy she was very attentive to our group! I wish I could give her 10 stars ⭐️ coming again soon for the cobbler and meatloaf per her recommendation!
