Charlotte's Coffee House

Very busy coffee spot and I can see why. They have a great menu with so many coffees, pastries and breakfast choices. The vibe is cozy and intimate and the service was friendly. They have outdoor as well as indoor space. It’s a must if you’re in Dubuque.

I was in town last week visiting a friend and found Charlotte's two blocks from my Airbnb. It was just the place I was looking for to replace my normal morning routine in Tucson [if you're ever in Tucson, check out Coffee XChange]. The first day the guy in line in front of me ordered a burrito with extra bacon. What an inspiration! I had to do the same. And it was good. The baristas are spry and friendly, on top of things, and I got the feeling if I stayed in town much longer, I'd quickly become part of the family. They have this little nook bounded on three sides by brick walls, just big enough for a booth and one person (two if you aren't afraid of intimacy). I made this my morning joe spot for both days I was in town. And it was good.

The food and coffee here were delicious! So many breakfast and lunch choices to choose from, and variety on what you could get on your sandwiches. Coffee was good and served fast. The breakfast biscuit was a little bit of a wait, but nothing too crazy. Plenty of indoor seating and also optional seating outside too. You can definitely find something here for everyone!

The food and coffee here was phenomenal! It was very busy and there was quite a wait, but it was well worth it!! We were visiting from out of town and I'm looking forward to returning here next time we're in town again! Mobile ordering is also an option to ease the wait if you're not dining in.
