This hometown restaurant is the bomb... Totally worth stopping in!! Excellent choice of sandwiches made fresh to order. Significant number of regulars inside from opening... Just awesome, come support this place... You will love it.

I got a chicken steak and the homie got a cheese steak. He said his was bomb. The chicken steak looked like strips of chicken breast, cheese, peppers and onions. We both got fries. My sandwich had good flavor, bread seemed fresh, fries were pretty good too. The problem was how long it took to make the sandwiches. This was a big problem! We showed up at 1:15pm and diddnt get our food till 2pm. We considered canceling the order and going somewhere else but figured the food has to be absolutely phenomenal, but it was just good. Good is fine if it takes 15 mins max to cook. The staff was friendly but there needs to be a restructure with the cooks. Expand the grill, hire another cook, i dont know, figure it out. Philly boy here. Born and raised. Went to school with will smiths niece. (Only added for the song reference)… For Florida this is good. They would do good in Philly and fit right in. With the vibe, decor, decorations, atmosphere and food you forget you’re not in Philadelphia for a minute or two. The rolls are 7/10 but the meat was 9/10. Loved it. This is the second best cheesesteak place in Sarasota.
