Charlie’s New Beginning

Charles, the Owner/chef, was kind and engaging! The food was terrific!!! We ate the Best “worst meatball”, some perfectly crisp, well seasoned dry rub wings, and a hearty salad!! Thanks for a great lunch visit!!

The food was absolutely horrible, cafeteria grade at best. Over priced especially for the quality. I was excited by some of the menu options but, don't waste your money. Staff wasn't very attentive and food took a long time. There is a good handful of better options in the area with similar menu options. Any of them would be a better option. Even the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. 0/10 Would not recommend.

I can't love this place enough. The food is delicious and you watch it being made so you know it's made fresh, which is a big deal to me. The atmosphere is chill and in my opinion suits all ages well. The staff is very friendly and helpful every time I've gone in. Also in a great location to grab some food and drive around the corner to see beautiful lake Erie. I was a loyal customer before Chaz reopened and I will be a loyal customer as long as they are open. We absolutely love Charlie's in my house 👍🏾

Honestly? Kinda lackluster. I was really excited to hear that Charlie's was comin back, I was a big fan of their food prior to their closing, so I was happy to get some food and support the business. I only purchased their salad, so I can't speak on their sandwiches or other meals, but here's my general takeaway- The chicken was cheap, it had that rubbery texture, alongside a flavor that was not all that impressive. It was just bits and pieces of it, too, which feels like they hadn't cooked it themselves but instead gotten it from their trucks. No biggie if they can't cook it themselves, but I wouldn't get it again. The salad itself was okay, the presentation was decent, but the onions were mostly center pieces, which are fine for sweetness, but don't really provide much flavor outside o

I'm becoming lightweight obsessed with this place. The food is delicious. The staff always treat me like family. Everyone is VIP there.
