Charlie's Diner

Great little diner! Next time we are in the area we will come back! Delicious down home food and friendly staff. My husband kept saying how great the coffee was. He loved it.

We decided to stop here while traveling on Rt 12 and weren't disappointed. It's a great little place near downtown for some good old fashioned feel-good food. The waitress was very nice and knew most of the customers by name so you can tell they have a lot of regulars. And the prices were great, only $43 to feed a family of 5! Thanks.

Great quiet place to eat. Prices were really fair for the amount of food that you get. I ordered a Western Omelette and I really got my moneys worth. Service was good considering the amount of people they had to wait on.

The servers were nice, the atmosphere is neighborhood friendly. But wow, the food was not good. To call the bacon limp might be an understatement, the home fries were a greasy pile , and the eggs were sparse. Will find another place next year during our weekend in Norwich. ( which is a great little town)

Depending on what you order the food is good Large portions but the homemade flavor lacks in certain dishes.
