Charlie's Chicken

I called ahead for a small catering need with only two hours notice for a full pan of mac and cheese. They were so nice and were appreciative of the business! Add one layer of foil on top and it would be even better. The mac and cheese even reheated well! They also do half pans. Worth every penny! I will be back!

Food was not fresh. The corn tasted like it had sat on the buffet all day:( It was OK and edible but at 530pm on a Saturday, I expected fresh fried chicken.

The added photo is my 2pc Bbq chicken for $12.10 . This is the “2pc daily special” with no drink. Mind you, the regular 2 pc chicken combo comes with a small drink. I wonder what the price is on that one? I questioned the size of the chicken pieces, and that was not welcomed!!! Ms. Ma’am in the window should take a class on customer service. They have a sign that lets you know just how welcome you are . It states they can refuse service to anyone. I was treated like they were doing me a favor by taking my money. Tonight was the last time I spend my money there. I will go to Muskogee where the food and customer service is good. I’m still trying to figure out what is so special about Thursday’s BBQ chicken special?!!! It isn’t the price… maybe it’s the rub they put on the baby chicken.

I normally try to stay pretty positive, especially considering it's somewhat close to home. Sadly that is not the case. I spent over $120 for my get together and got home and was shocked to find I was missing a order of steak fries (which bummed me out, but not a deal breaker) and what really did me in was what I got for my "carrot cake". Honestly, for $4 I didn't expect a whole cake but atleast a full serving.no it was soooo smal of a peice I fit two more pieces of tht same size in the one container. Made me feel like complete crap giving that to my kids,(i know would-a,could-a,should-a, but if id know itd been tht bad i would have picked one up at harps. Atleast i would have gotten to try it). And then to top it all off you charge me 3.75% of the cost of the total order for using a card.

Local. We’ve been trying to give this place a good chance about once a month for quite some time. The last three times in a row we’ve ordered dinner(not lunch) my chicken was old, dry and obviously cooked at lunchtime. For the price I expect freshly cooked food. We are done. Good luck.
