Charlie Horse

Went for dinner and sat at the bar. Got seated and served a drink promptly. Bartender was very busy handling the bar, takeout, and service bar. Too much in my opinion for one person. It took a long time to put our order in because she was so busy. We started with buffalo wings which were quite good. We then both ordered the Prime rib special both ordering med/rare. The meal came out and both plates came out looking very nice. When we went to eat the prime rib it was the toughest piece of meat I think I have ever had at a restaurant.

I just went to this restaurant with my family. By far some of the worst food I've ever tasted. I had the baked potatoes appetizer the oil was dripping from it they had no taste whatsoever. We also ordered the poutine which the gravy was literally out of a bag. There were no cheese curds on it was mozzarella cheese you can tell it was placed in a broiler. Potatoes were super greasy. My wife ordered the turkey dinner which literally looked like deli turkey meat the gravy was out of a bag and tasted horrendous she ate mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce that was her dinner. I ordered the fisherman's platter and it smelled fishy I left more than half their. My son ordered cheese pizza it was decent. I think you would have gotten a better Pizza Frozen from Cape cod Pizza. Very clean large restraint. Many screens for watching sports. Staff while pleasant, having to work at being truly friendly and pleasant.waiter came promptly and took the order. We both ordered open face turkey sandwich for lunch. They arrived at a reasonable time. The amount of meat was disappointing. The edges of slices of turkey were hard and some crystaline. Like over cooked or old storage. The forks served were like camping utensils and not sharp pointed so difficult to pick up food. The knives provided were supposedly decent quality steak knives but not sharp at all to cut pieces. It was like sawing wood pieces. For such a pleasant place, it was a major disappointment . They had a large scoop of cranberry sauce and cold French fries in small baskets.

This was the 1st time here and we were very impressed. I had meatloaf w/mashed potatoes and my companion had country fried chicken. Both were delicious and were definitely homemade. Prices were good, service was awesome (Christy) and if in the area again I would definitely return. Highly recommend!!

2025 I have problems and being gluten-free vegetarian there’s not a lot for me to eat so I thought I’d be safe with a salad. I said to the waitress - is it all greens in the salad? She’s assured me it was. I got it at the same time as my friend and right on top was iceberg lettuce!😡 I said that’s not greens. I can’t eat iceberg lettuce. It’s hard to digest and it’s not good for you and I had just had stomach surgery -so I had to send it back and get mashed potatoes not that good ! so I won’t be going there again . Not good for vegetarians or celiac people ! Please update your menu to accommodate people with allergies.
