Charles H Stone Memorial Library

This is a neat little library with a lot to offer, first of all the building and grounds were well kept and clean. The library offers the usual categories of books and a children's section. I found some great reading materials that I haven't seen at other libraries or book stores. The staff was friendly enough but not exactly helpful, i was greeted but nothing else. Also, I heard one staff member yelling at another very loudly, maybe she was having a bad day. Im not sure, just found it to be unprofessional considering there were more than one patron in the small library which made the yelling even louder and could be heard throughout. There is a food box in the back that provides hungry citizens with non-perishable food items and even some hygiene products like tampons. Found the

The Pilot Mountain Library is the best place for families and children. It boasts a bunch of books, great puzzles, technology like 3D printer and laminating services, weekly crafts activities (is summer) and activities for all big and small fellas and the best staff member in the planet. Thank you for all you guys do for our community. You guys make this town a better and happier place for sure.

What a great library. Dewey's, Anna, and Diane are always helpful. When we want a book all we do is ask. Then they proceed to search. They have reserved many books for us. Dewey is great to offer suggested reads and point you in the direction of your likes. For example my wife asked me to get a book. I asked her what she wanted and she said, "Dewey will be there. Ask him what I should read." The library is also very welcoming. They love to see children and have designated areas for them to explore books and play. There are tables to complete work, write, read etc. Also, there are comfortable chairs for your reading delight. Computers and printing options are available. I love our library in Pilot Mtn. The people who work there are so kind, friendly and helpful. I can't stress enough how much this library means to everyone in the community.
