Chaps Real Pit BBQ

I just can’t imagine anything that tastes better than the Crossroads Burger. That brisket and beef patty combo with the perfectly crisped fries was literally the most outstanding meal I’ve eaten - and this girl likes to sample!!! RJ got the old faithful Back Nine Bob Special Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Grilled Onions. Uh-mazing.

This is a GEM in the Texas Hill Country! I have eaten BBQ all over the state and all over the US. Chaps is by far the best I have ever tasted! Normally I have the brisket which has that smokey taste but is sooooo tender! The sides, the beans and potato salad are awesome! Apparently they have started selling burgers too and increased their menu and I cant wait to try the burger too. Would give this place more than 5 stars if possible! I will definitely be a return customer!

My wife and I agree it's the best brisket we've ever had and she's been a cook off judge for years. Smoke ring, texture, taste, etc. Is perfect. The man knows what he's doing, people. How's that for high praise? The pulled pork is outstanding, the breakfast tacos are equally tasty and huge! Friendly owners, good prices and great food. I give it 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Good people great food. I’ve been all over the great state of Texas eating BBQ and Chaps Real Pit BBQ is my favorite. Darrell knows his BBQ.and evidently he knows burgers too. He fixed me one of the best jalapeño cheese burger on a jalapeño bun I’ve ever had. Try ‘em you’ll like ‘em.

Friday catfish day is on the calendar for a reason!! Legit!! Their breakfast tacos, burgers, are hands down tops in the highland lakes! Oh, but…the BBQ!?!! You are cheating yourself by not eating here 4-5 times a week!!
