4.3 overall Great craft drinks and upscale menu. With a la carte a thing, I would recommend exploring the menu and ordering from the various sections. A very engaging plug and play menu to dabble with and build a unique meal. Great for a date night with your boo-piece or to celebrate a special occasion. Great location and people watching.

YOU MUST HAVE THE CHAPLIN BURGER!!! Chaplin is a great addition to downtown Shelton. The space is beautiful, the atmosphere feels upscale yet welcoming, and the food quality is solid across the board. Steaks are well prepared, seafood is fresh, and the menu is thoughtfully put together. Service was attentive and friendly, which made the overall experience very enjoyable. The only downside was the drink pricing. While the cocktails are well made, a dirty martini at around $13 during happy hour felt quite high for the area. Not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of. Overall, a very good dining experience and a place I’d return to—especially for dinner—just mindful that drinks can add up quickly.

Totally impressed with today's Brunch. Arrived a bit early for our reservation and we were seated immediately. Our server, Andrea, could not have been more professional or polite - attending to us (as 1st timers) and not pressuring for any quick decisions. The food was outstanding, both visually and in taste - the Brunch Burger was 5 Stars in size, appearance and flavor - cooked to perfection. The French toast was a few tiers above what we expected - presentation and flavor were excellent! Creme Brulle - perfect. We will be returning....

Everything we ordered was insanely delicious. The bone marrow and Brussels sprouts were our favorites. The bolognese was also incredible.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s been pretty consistent! The food is cooked correctly & good drinks. I think it’s always worth a visit here!
