Chapala Mexican Restaurant

Was in town and decided to give this place a try, luckily they had 4-tacos for $12 special on Thursdays. Called in to order to go, very simple and easy. When I got there I was greeted by this super nice lady, she got my payment and grabbed my food, offered sauces, asked for 4 and no problem, She was also very polite and attentive, I wish all customer service Staff were like her. Kudos. The tacos were absolutely delicious, got 2 shredded chicken and 2 steak. I liked the steak more but both were on point as you can see in the last picture I devoured the plate. lol. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of were the sauces, They had a weird scent and flavor, I tried to like it but I never had any like it before and it was odd and wasn’t very pleasant. Overall good experience and will be back here aga

First time getting food here, the food is horrible, service is horrible, workers are so rude when your ask for one extra salsa. I ordered 4 flautas, which turned out to taste horrible they were all soggy and barely had any toppings like sour cream, AND $16 FOR 4 FLAUTAS??? Insanely over priced compared to other better Mexican restaurants. The lady I asked kindly to give me an extra salsa said “we don’t give extras that’s all you get” with such a rude attitude. NEVER GO HERE😡😡😡😡

Stopped here for lunch today and went with the Chilaquiles with chorizo. It was really good and the serving size was pretty big as well. I have tried a few different things from here and it’s always been consistent! I recommend stop and check out Chapala’s for lunch sometime, they also have a full bar. 🥃

Pleasant environment to visit with friends. Friendly staff, but had to ask for water refills and never offered another or came to check. Huge burritos. Garlic fish fillet was good. Very flavorful, but left tummy feeling a little "iffy" after. Would come with others again, but may not seek it out in our own again.

Second time getting food here. Sweet people, and the chile verde & carnitas some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Extra crispy hash browns for breakfast, the way they should be done. Perfect breakfast to start the New Year! Our new go to for sure!
