I enjoy this place sooo much! The white queso dip is a must!! The portions are great, plates are always nice. The staff is always friendly! Super busy sometimes, i will always make time to stop in!
We came after 7 so it was quiet & calm. Delicious food & great service! Just what we were looking for! 😋
Chano's Village was ok. There wasn't much about the food that I would say was memorable. We got the steak fajitas and chicken fajitas. While it wasn't inedible or anything, there was nothing that stood out and only things that we disliked. For one, the chicken fajitas had a char on them so much to the point that most bites tasted like burnt. The other issue was with the fajita vegetables. For whatever reason, they decided to use 98% onions and 2% green peppers for their fajita vegetables. The rice, pico, and cheese wasn't very flavorful. The chips lacked any salt whatsoever. The flour tortillas we got were said to be fresh tortillas, but I am suspicious about that. If you eat here, you probably won't hate it, but you definitely won't be blown away either!
The atmosphere here is pretty great and the service is wonderful, but the food? Not so much. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Mexican food I've enjoyed in the Southwest (and I've had my fair share), but this food was super bland; it depended way too much on cheese to give it any substance -- and im not sure the cheese was even fresh because a lot of it didnt even melt. The chicken tasted like it was out of a can, the ground beef was ground into a sludge, and the spices and sauces were extremely boring. On topnof that, the prices were absolutely ridiculous! Mexican food is some of the cheapest food to make, so if a place is going to charge this much for it then it had better be MUY, MUY bueno...which I thinknive made clear it wasn't. But the presentation was nice. Every plate looked a picture. Over
Special birthday lunch and staff was patient and helpful. KJ said his food was FANTASTIC! TYVM!
