Chalos Express

I love Chalos; it’s a staple in my food rotation whenever I’m in FiDi. The empanadas are amazingly delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and flavorful fillings that always arrive hot and fresh. The owners, Annie and Gonzalo, are wonderful people who clearly love what they do and that passion truly shines through in both their food and their business!

This place is the 💣! I just started a remodel of an office in the building above, and decided to find something to eat with my coffee, when I came across this place. I was about to order the empanadas when I saw that they had breakfast burritos, so I ordered one with sausage and brought it to my office, when I finally started eating it, I literally couldn't stop, the crispy tater tots inside were perfect and the flavor was amazing. The burrito is huge, so lately I've been getting their empanadas which two is usually sufficient unless you're really hungry then three tops me off. I highly recommend this place ⭐

Went in to order a breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. Ingredients were perfect - tots crispy, pico de gallo fresh, and eggs had a great consistency. The tortilla held up well.

Chalos nailed it with their second location. Super friendly service and the empanadas are somehow even better than the first time I tried them. Quick, easy, and ridiculously good.

*** update: breakfast burrito is delicious *** At first I was a little hesitant because you order on an iPad and it wasn’t as welcoming/smooth as expected. Once my order was in the staff were extremely helpful and fast! Then I tried the sweet beef empanada. The taste is unbelievable. The dough isn’t too heavy, light and warm. I will be back! Hopefully they bring breakfast burritos one day to this location.
