Ceylon Express

Absolutely loved my experience at Ceylon Express! We ordered the food, and the food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the person I spoke to is very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The Kotthu and Lump rice definitely brought back memories from our home Sri Lanka. A perfect spot for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I always go there to buy groceries and food. The food here has a real Sri Lankan authentic taste. It’s mostly a Sinhalese-style flavor, which I really like because I’m a Sri Lankan Tamil and have always loved the taste of Sinhalese food, especially their authentic spices. I used to go to Spice Lanka for our Tamil-style food, but unfortunately they don’t make food with a real Sri Lankan taste. Instead, they keep experimenting to adapt the flavors to the local community in the neighborhood, which makes it unpleasant for people who are looking for genuine Sri Lankan taste. The staff at Ceylon Express are very friendly and down to earth, but the owner at Spice Lanka is rude and does not know how to respect customers.

We are regular customers of Ceylon Express. We are originally from Kandy Sri Lanka , presently living in Whitestone, NY. They serve delicious food , hygienic, in a very friendly atmosphere. We recommend this place to anyone who like to taste Sri Lankan traditional cuisine.

they have a great variety of items but the woman in the front charged us for items we didnt get. this is not the first time but the second time this is happening. but other staff at the store are very nice and i like their prices
