To start off , my partner and I had no reservation ( we definitely should have !! Bad on our part ) but despite that we didn’t the owner/manager still found us a spot to eat. This was our first time dining here and it was exceptional!! I am beyond satisfied with the service and food experience overall , will definitely be returning. I would recommend getting a reservation just incase!!
I decided to finally check off a spot that’s been sitting on my list: Ceviche House Peru. A no-brainer decision on the way home — and honestly, the perfect ending to my day. I couldn’t get a reservation online, but one quick call and they fit me in for an 8 PM table. The staff were so warm and welcoming, asking if it was my first time trying Peruvian cuisine and sharing their favorites. I felt so cared for from the moment I walked in. I started with a refreshing passion fruit juice, then this unforgettable Peruvian corn served with a jalapeño-cilantro-celery mayo dip — the kick I didn’t know I needed! For my appetizer, I tried the scallops baked under melted Parmesan — fresh lime squeezed on top made it even better. Then, for the main event: the chimichurri steak served with fresh-cut
We arrived at Ceviche House Mi Perú on a Friday night on a whim and were very grateful to be accommodated quickly for our party of three. The anticuchos were excellent and full of flavor. While the ceviche was not my favorite, it was still enjoyable. I noticed a pronounced dairy element, possibly cream or milk used for thickening. A lighter hand with that component would have made a very positive difference for me. The chicha morada was refreshing, though I would have loved to see chopped apple added. I understand that quince fruit can be difficult to source and expensive, so this is simply a personal preference. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere was warm and lovely. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we will definitely return the next time we are i
I gave this 4 stars due to I rarely give anything 5 stars unless everything is absolutely amazing. This place has really good food and one of the best ceviche I have ever had. But to me some dishes needed more seasoning to them ( my opinion) *presentation on dishes they got it! *There sauces are delicious , all of them *Ceviche on point! *Empanadas were great, love the little sweetness on the outside * Other dishes like steak and even the rice needed a little more flavor to it. Just my taste, I had the white rice and the yellow rice. *They had good fried yuca, good cuts on them were good but still too thick for me, I wanted more crisp on the outside as well. *Fried fish dish, lots of flavor and food. *There wok dishes - fried rice is really good.
Wow. I ordered the Ceviche Chalaco, Seco Norteño, and had Pescado a lo Macho as a take-home order, ordered right from the start because it was clear this place was going to be amazing...and it was! I never went to Red Bank enough when I lived nearby in my early 20s, and I clearly don't go enough nowadays either. Otherwise I might not have been so floored by the quality, pricing, decor, etc that this restaurant possesses; many restaurants in the area give off similar vibes of excellence. I'm not sure if this one is in particular is new or not, but it certainly appears that way as it's kept nice and the staff seem cheery/friendly. The food itself was amazing, and felt very fairly priced for the quality/quantity provided. If I had to pick I'd say the ceviche order, consisting of both a
