My first time here and it won’t be my last. The food I ordered was delicious. I love enchiladas and they didn’t disappoint me. I will be eating here very soon again. The employees are very friendly, the atmosphere is also nice. Also, they have a speakeasy that opens at 9pm😊

I arrived at the taqueria at 10:40 PM with my husband. According to the information online, the restaurant closes at 12:00 AM, which is why we went in thinking we still had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, the waitress had a hostile and unwelcoming attitude. As soon as we sat down, she demanded that we order immediately because the kitchen was “about to close.” We complied and placed our full order right away. However, she came back shortly after to say that the only modification I requested couldn’t be done—even though I have visited this restaurant many times before and they have always accommodated it. they have surprisingly great tacos. Stumbled upon this place by just doing a simple Google review. If you come for happy hour, they offer three types of tacos for only three dollars. One being pork, the other being chicken and they also have a vegetarian option. The Micheladas for happy hour were more than reasonably priced. The bartender also had great conversation and was very welcoming. Upon entering the bar I was greeted. Upon sitting down, I was serve a glass of water. The bartender was super knowledgeable on how everything was prepared in the kitchen, and we had a great conversation. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to come here and check them out for themselves. The additional four sauces that came with the tacos were also delicious What allowed me to give this five stars

Every single thing was amazing, from the aguachile to the mole enchiladas and tacos. Order the grandma’s refried beans. Our server was attentive and friendly. We were going to wait in the horribly long line for pizza across the street, but this was a much more chill experience!

We went on Cinco de Mayo and can only guess they were really struggling with the crowds that evening. The wait was very long and they seated people randomly, for example several tables who arrived after us were seated before us. Our table wasn't clean when we were seated, they kept forgetting our orders or gave us the wrong order, and our bill wasn't correct when it finally arrived. Lots of other tables near us kept sending their bills back as well. The shambolic night aside, at the end of the day, the food itself was just OK. It was definitely the worst meal we had on our NY trip food quality wise. But we did enjoy the buzzing atmosphere and staff were very apologetic.
