Central Library - Coweta Public Library System

The library is awesome, but Miriam at the front desk is very rude. Rude to my face and then proceeded to talk about me and make a face to the other desk person as I was walking away.

So nice clean and peaceful. It's has a great assortment of children's books. And plenty for adults. Easy to get a library card and begin your adventures.

I used to love going to this library because all the staff were nice and welcoming but i went today i had returned some books that i had for a long time and forgot to renew them. i returned them and we went to go check out some other books but the lady at the front desk said in a very rude and snooty tone of voice that “you WONT be able to check those books out” because i had fines on my account. when i asked the what the fines were for she said because i had the books for too long and they were over due. i told her that i already returned them and that i didn’t get a chance to renew them and she tried to say that i had paid fees in the past for overdue books which was literally a lie because i’ve returned every book that i checked out from that library. she had a very ugly attitude towar

The ladies at the front desk along with the ladies at the help desk (in the adult section) were all really sweet and helpful! I had an awesome first experience. Although the study room was really hot.

Love this library! First time here! I’m in love with the kids section and they do so many fun activities for the summer months for the children as well as throughout the school year. I can’t wait to bring my grandkids here! My daughter and I actually visited together and checked out some books to read about various topics. I usually will do my Kindle for reading but sometimes there’s nothing better then a good old paperback. We had lots of fun walking around and looking at all the different reading selections. Also this is a great place to go study or quietly work. The librarian at the desk was so sweet, and very helpful and got us registered for our cards, explained all the do’s and do not’s of everything, and I even registered to vote here, first time! Very happy with this library. I wi
