Cedar Point Beach & Rec Area

Great little beach on base. Sand has lots of rocks in it that is a bit harsh on the feet. The gazebos in the grassy field are great to escape the sun. There are restrooms, but they were locked when we visited.

Almost don't want to let the secret out but this is a beautiful stretch of beach, quiet and relaxing, no jellyfish at all on 9/21/22 so it was great swimming in the clear water.

Love this little beach! Open to anyone who has access to the Naval Air Station. Has pavilions for cook outs, bathrooms and a playground. And the water is calm enough and shallow enough for my toddler to splash around in. Plus, the beach is rarely crowded! It's not a big, fancy beach but it's a nice little gem!
