Cecil's Cajun Kitchen

Day-um, Cecil! Way to whip up a tasty batch. We drove to Deridder from Lake Charles to give this place a try, and it will now be on the rotation of favorite places to go. Everything was excellent 👌 the food, the service, even my mixed drink was divine! The steak was cooked to perfection, the red beans & rice were richly flavored, and s anytime I get asked how I want my burger cooked, I'm in because it means that's fresh beef. Oh, and it's it necessary to put cinnamon & sugar on sweet potatoes? No, but is it a welcome surprise? You bet it is!

Ordered grilled shrimp po boy with fries, it was delicious! The bread was crispy, not hard while the shrimp was flavorful. I will come back again for it, it was the best!

One of my 84 year old mother's favorite places to eat. She lives in New Llano. My wife and I are from Texas and went there with her for the first time yesterday. Food and service were excellent. Very fair prices. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back in the future. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t impressed with the catfish Opelousas. I would definitely go for the burgers I heard they are excellent. Would definitely come back and try something different next time.
