My fiance and I had our engagement party at Cece’s and chose to have our Valentine’s dinner here as well! First and foremost, the staff at Cece’s is absolutely the best in Baltimore. Our server Kara, an angel, was prompt and made us feel so special. Many other staff members remembered us from our engagement and made us feel like celebrities. If that wasn’t enough, the food is delectable! Special shoutout to the delicious Burrata, Waygu bolognese, and the Blackberry Sour we devoured. Highly recommend celebrating any and all special occasions at Cece’s. They make you feel like family!!!
Great fun restaurant. Recommend the Whole Bronzino, Grilled Octopus, fresh bread, and the Truffle Fries. I do not like that sides are À la Carte, a sneaky way of driving up the prices…. $12.00 for the broccoli side dish pictured.
I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The place is very beautiful, and the food was very good. Overall, I had a nice experience. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I clearly mentioned in my reservation that it was my birthday, yet no complimentary dessert or cake was offered. It’s not about whether I can afford it, and I understand that it’s not an obligation. However, for a restaurant of this standard, small gestures like this are part of what makes a guest feel truly special on their day. I have celebrated birthdays at many restaurants of similar caliber around Maryland and DC, and this is the first one that did not offer any birthday acknowledgment. That small detail made me feel less special on a day that was meant to be memorable.
I went to Cece’s for my birthday dinner! 🍰 The venue was beautiful, with gorgeous details throughout the restaurant. I ordered the Mezze Rigatoni, which was like a lasagna 🍝 in a bowl. It was pretty good. I originally wanted the Rotolo (spinwheels); however, they mentioned that the menu changes often. We also ordered the oysters 🦪 and the Pepperoni Bolognese pizza 🍕. The pizza had hot honey 🍯 on it, which tasted amazing! It was my first time trying hot honey, and I usually don’t like anything spicy—but it was so good! My only issue was when the waiter asked if we wanted our food boxed up. I said I would like a to-go box, but she repeatedly insisted that they don’t bring boxes to the table. Eventually, the manager—who was very kind—brought us a box without hesitation. I appreciated the comp
I stopped in for a quick bite to eat & a drink. Food was surprisingly good. Meatball app was a hit. Generous portion & not that nasty frozen meatball stuff. Mushroom pizza was great too, I would eat the whole thing if I could have. Dirty martini was dirty & strong. Perhaps too strong for some folks. Great date night vibes with outside seating. Will definitely come back.
