My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at CAVAS, and I can honestly say it was one of the most special dining experiences we’ve ever had in Milwaukee. From the moment we walked in, we felt as though we’d been welcomed into the home of an established Spanish or Argentinian chef. Chef Ana and her husband Peter bring such warmth, hospitality, and passion to every detail — it’s clear this is more than just a restaurant, it’s their craft and their home. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Each course felt thoughtfully curated, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic flavor. We’ve dined at many restaurants in the city, but nothing compares to the intimacy and care you feel here. It’s rare to find a place where you can experience both world-class cuisine and the personal touch

Fantastic little Spanish restaurant in the Third Ward. It's only open a few days a week, reservations required, and it's a small quaint little spot where you're almost having Chef Ana as your own personal chef. There are maybe ten tables available in the dining room, so it's very private. Chef Ana and Peter interact with the guests all evening as Ana prepares your food and Peter brings everything to you. It's pretty obvious from the beginning that they are absolutely focused on amazing food and customer service. We had the prix fixe menu which was a seven course meal. My wife had passion fruit sangria and I had a caipirinha (which is a Brazilian cocktail). Everything was fantastic. I think my favorites were the lamb and the empanadas, but everything was amazing. You will absolutely leave

Just endured one of the best culinary experiences of my life! We have been to multiple Michelin Star restaurants and Cavas has exceeded these experiences. From the moment that we walked in and greeted by Peter and by Chef Ana herself we really felt like we were transported, The cocktails were great, wine pairings were perfect, and the food was phenomenal! The service and atmosphere were like nothing that I have ever experienced. The only reservation I have about writing this review is that more people will want to try it and make it more difficult for return visits. My only suggestion is trust the chef and let her give you the experience.

This is one of the most spectacular dining experiences I've ever had. It was like being treated like a VIP in someone's home. All of the food was fresh fresh and fantastic. They have two preset menus, multi-course paella and a 7-course tasting menu. I like this method because it's a nice mix of things that are familiar and things that are new and I may not have selected if picking from an ala cart menu. Everything I had was great and I would happily order again. Also Chef Ana and Peter were fantastic they really made it a special experience.

This is officially one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. Here, you don't just eat; you actually have an experience. The food is more than delicious, and the chef perfectly and carefully balances the flavors. The atmosphere takes you to some places in Europe since the service is not only welcoming but also has a family vibe. I have tried different types of paellas in Spain, Colombia, and several Spanish Michelin restaurants across the US. The one we shared today is in my top 5 for sure. We will return to try more courses on the menu. BTW, Chef Ana and the server Peter are amaizing.
