The staff was super friendly and great at making recommendations off of what I felt like eating. The food was top notch and worth the price. The restaurant itself was very clean. I will definitely be returning.

I have lived down the street from this place for over 25 years and it used to be way better but it was Charlie's diner but I accepted that it changed and I've tried them out a few times over the last 20 years and every time I go there I get screwed over. The food is always good and the staff is always nice but if you're going to charge the person in front of me that speaks the language One price and then I get the exact same thing behind them and get a different price because I look like a gringa.. nope I am not I am actually Puerto Rican and I do not need a green card to be here I've tried them out a few times and I have been treated nicely but with the same discriminatory nature I go one block down the street to Gomez liquor and get twice the amount of food for the price but you can't fo

Food 5/10 Service 7/10 it was good.

My husband and I ate here this week. Neither one of us is familiar with Dominican food. The food was AMAZING! Very fresh! The waitress and the patrons helped explain what the different dishes were. We highly recommend this hidden gem. Next time we are in Lawrence, we will definitely eat here again!!
