I don’t know if portion sizes changed in 2026 for Cava but the amount of meat I received for my kids meal is a literal JOKE. I always get the braised lamb which is an almost $4 extra up charge. This entire meal was $14.58 (chips also included) and it basically looks like dog scraps. Shame on Cava in Montgomeryville Plaza. No way a kids meal can’t be filled up with correct portions for almost $15. I also see on the receipt a drink was included but I was never given a cup or kids drink. Seems like a bunch of jokers working. They’re willing to skimp out on the customer however way they can. Learned my lesson the hard way. Won’t be back again. Does this look like a kids meal worth $14.58?
I love CAVA! This location is great because there’s no hustle and bustle for the lunch hour. I went to get a bowl because marketing works on me and my reward points are about to expire. I was greeted with a big smile by Theresa. She was so kind to listen to my Generation Y banter and make my seasonal white sweet potato bowl. I especially appreciated Theresa’s custom recipe and guidance, something out of my norm Harissa Chicken Avocado bowl. I thoroughly enjoyed the white sweet potato and lamb combo with the fig dressing, definitely a banger. Another favorite would be the cucumber lime juice. Kudos to CAVA, looks like the fountain drink options have expanded, I’m a fan. I kept it simple with the meal, but I had to rave about Theresa, affectionately now my Mother Theresa with the amethyst c
I always love going here. The food is delicious and the workers are always so kind. They always get me to try new things and teresa put me on to the yummy drinks.
This bowl was $19. The shredded lettuce was the clear white ends of lettuce (not what they show on their website). It tasted good but I can’t justify $19 for it.
Brought my daughter to try Cava and she really enjoyed it. The kids meal was a perfect size and gave enough opportunity to try different offerings. As in prior visits I enjoyed a grain bowl. The food is fresh and healthier than most quick take-a-ways. We both tried the new pita sumac sour cream and onion pita chips which were good. We will definitely return for lunch in the future.
