Great concept! Everything was VERY flavorful, in fact a little too flavorful. I ordered the Harissa Avocado Chicken Bowl. Everything was so seasoned that when it was put together, it was just over whelming. The chicken was spicy but wasn't indicated with how much spice. I would suggest making your own bowl. They do have a huge selection of bases, rices, proteins, sides, toppings, sauces ... and drinks! Quality of everything was great just a lot of things going on in your mouth at once (and I'm India...I am used to a lot of and a variety of spices 😂). Pita chips were delicious and helped accompany the bowl and were good on their own. Would try again to give it another chance but spend some time analyzing that menu and different options this time. A good place to get a quick, Mediterranean style bite. Plenty of build-your-own bowl options, and several predetermined options for those that can't make a decision ;) Extra seating for another 20ish people updtairs. Parking is a challenge unless you pay for a garage.

This is my favorite location in the city of Chicago. The food is great every time but the employees make the experience much better. I have the pleasure of having Susan prepare my bowl. She was so kind and greeted me with a compliment. She was patient while I ordered three bowls. Please order with Susan she is so kind. Thank you Susan again and I hope you see this review. I’ll be honest, my past experiences with CAVA haven’t been great. I’ve had orders messed up in NYC, and a large order was cancelled at the Loop location in Chicago, which was frustrating. Today completely changed that thanks to Susan and the team at the Chicago Ontario location. I had about 45 minutes before a meeting and needed that same large order turned around quickly. Susan personally stepped in, helped prepare 20 bowls, and kept everything moving with a calm, positive attitude. Huge thank you to Susan and the staff for turning a stressful situation into a great experience. You saved my day when I really needed the help
