Catch 31 Fish House & Bar

This is a modern restaurant with class attached to the Hilton hotel. Niessa was really pleasant and made my dining experience fun. The drink menu is more extensive imo, from a bevy of wines to cocktails and beer. The Ahi Tuna Poke was the most delicious and freshest tuna I've ever had. Beautifully shucked oysters will have you ordering more. The Blue Points were my favorite and the Chunu had a subtle aftertaste of green tea that i didn't expect. Its good place to visit for a fancy night in VA Beach, but make sure your pockets are deep.

This was my second time visiting Catch 31 and I received very good service each time. 12/14/25 I went to the Grinch Brunch and had a good experience. Staff was friendly and the restaurant had great decor. I loved seeing the Grinch with the kids. Food was good; however, I didn't really care for the Oysters Rockefeller. It was packed with spinach dip and made it really hard to eat.

I enjoyed my experience here! We ordered the Cajun Crab Dip and flat bread to start then the Bourbon Maple Glazed Cedar Plank Salmon and Tuna. Everything was delicious and fresh when served. Phil was our waiter and he was a joy to have. Will come back again.

First time here and honestly it was not bad. The fried calamari was perfectly fried to my liking. I enjoyed the lobster roll which was well portioned and the bread was made just how I liked it. My wife liked her crab cake sandwich and after taking a bite I agree with her. The chocolate cake for desert was delicious if you like it very rich. I will definitely consider coming back when I'm back at the ocean front.

Nice décoration, we walked in on Saturday night around 10 pm, we were immediately seated. The service was fast and there was a dj playing music. We ordered 3 different kinds of raw oysters , coconut shrimp was amazing, calamari and flatbread shrimp, everything was delicious with a nice presentation. Open kitchen so you can see all the seafood prepared.
