Great seafood! The calamari was the best we've ever had! Also had the rockfish tacos and clam chowder. All the food was very good. Also dog friendly on the patio. The even offered to move us inside when it started to rain, but we stayed on the patio under their umbrella. Will return when in the area.

The food at Catalyst Seafood Restaurant & Lounge is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. You can really taste the quality in their seafood dishes. Service was just okay — not bad, but could be more attentive, especially considering the higher prices. The atmosphere is comfortable and upscale, making it a nice spot for a special night out. It is a bit expensive, but if you’re looking for great seafood and don’t mind paying a little extra, it’s definitely worth a visit.

My wife and ate a light supper there twice, March 6 and 7th. We walked from our room nearby at Ocean Suites. We had been there once before, probably during early pandemic in 2022 so that we could be outside on the patio. We return here because it's the best eatery in Brookings Harbor, known for it's seafood. We had a crab dish with an adult beverage (full bar) the first time, and crispy fried oysters the second time with salad, and another adult beverage. The wait staff are friendly, eager to satisfy, cheerful like they like working there. There were families there in small groups with infants in high chairs. A little noisy inside. A television was on but now audio or music that I could hear. Animated cartoons for children. We'll be back.

The food and service were excellent. Hands down my favorite chowder of the road trip. For the fish and chips - the fish was crispy and tender tender, the fries were crispy on the outside while still tender on the inside. The ciabatta bun on the sandwich was soft and fluffier than we've experienced at other places. Sit outside if the interior vibes aren't for you. Definitely a must try when in the area!

Really enjoyed the Surf & Turf dinner! Everything was delicious and perfectly done, plus reasonably priced at 25.$ We also had a beer & wine at 2 off before 6 pm. A great value.
