Catalina Restaurant

This is one of those hole in the wall establishments that is what seafood is all about!! The crab cakes are amazing, hurricane shrimp sauce was yum! We didn't care for their coleslaw. We had the best waitress. She said she hadn't been there very long, but she did an EXCELLENT job keeping check on us! Just beware, my son got the grilled grouper (listed as grilled on the menu), and they tried to charge $1.99 extra for it being grilled. She fixed it, but just make sure they dont overcharge you. Freshest oysters! My husband wished he had gotten more of those!!

After seeing Catalina Restaurant featured on GMA 3 of us drove over from Pensacola and ordered and ate the 4 dishes shown on the show. We were not in any way disappointed. Service was pleasant, food was delicious and plentiful. Although not featured on the show, we finished the meal with Key Lime Pie. I will return and bring more friends next time.

The best crab claws and oysters in the south! Friendly staff makes you feel like home. Yum!

I’m from Mobile and have never experienced this restaurant until last night. I was not disappointed at all. It’s such a nice and cozy little spot that has a sweet shop connected. Unfortunately we got there a little too late to enjoy the sweets next door but will be gladly going back for that. My husband and I shared a bowl of seafood gumbo, a shrimp po-boy, and the combination plate with the fried shrimp and crab claws. We left so very full and so very satisfied. Gotta love hearing some BOH banter while enjoying our meal. Go on now, go get that delicious seafood!

Food is wonderful!! First time to go here. Will be going back!! I highly recommend it. Our waitress was terrific and very thoughtful on keeping our drinks filled. This restaurant is worth the drive from anywhere. You must go and eat here.
