Besides the food and the service, everything was excellent. The atmosphere was almost worth it. The filet mignon was very undercooked and tasted bad. The veggies were as hard as rocks and the dessert cake was stale with frosting turned to crust. Very disappointing! Go for drinks and leave.

The location is absolutely stunning. The dining rooms are gorgeous! They have done a lot to preserve the history of this place. The service was ok. Not bad but not stellar. The food left much to be desired. My husband had the ribeye and all he could taste was the char. I had the rack of lamb. It was cooked nicely but lacked in flavor. The best part of our meal was the vegetable soup in the tomato basil broth. Overall, it was nice to experience the ambiance of this place but there are far better places to eat at the same price point or less.

Amazing location in an early 1900's Governor's Mansion. The ambiance was perfect with an exquisite piano player charming the space at a perfect volume to balance conversation and appreciation for his skill. The menu looked amazing and my family of four was challenged to settle on a final choice for our meal. We settled on the pork chop for my wife, the salmon for my daughter, the chicken parm with baked mac and cheese for my son, and the beef wellington for myself. All four dishes left much to be desired. The salmon's flavour was perfect but the fish was overcooked. We all enjoyed stealing bites from my daughter's dish. My Wellington was solidly OK. Asked for rare to medium rare but arrived medium well to well. My wife's pork chop was over well and could hardly be cut with the steak knife

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. What a hotel and restaurant. Food was a bit pricey but given the atmosphere I understand why. Ordered beef Wellington medium rare... Part of it was well, part of it was very very rare. I guess if you average it out... Amazing staff. Breakfast was solid too.

Very scenic. Great staff! Great service! Quiet music. For dinner, I had the roasted golden and red beet carpaccio salad with 🐐 cheese, Castle beef Wellington and a type of chocolate Marquez for dessert. The portions on salad and dinner were huge,so, I couldn't finish. Breakfast was Continental, served with scrambled eggs. Good food and coffee! Great service and staff!
