Castañeda's Mexican Food

I just went through the drive thru. I got the carne asada fries and they're the worst I've ever eaten. Fries were super soggy, oily, and I believe they were microwaved. Absolutely no crunch and the fries in the middle were cold. Immediately trashed. Couldn't be saved with all the oil.

Really nice people. Took our order right away. And food was taken to put table in no time. Flor tortillas were really good. And the food was good. I'm a cook and diabetic so I eliminated the salt on my cooking. I noticed it right away but not a big deal. Of course I'll be back and buy again. I order from them from time to time and I have no complaint whatsoever.

Opens late. Eating here will make you ask yourself why you are there. We ordered breakfast burrito and a cabeza taco. The cabeza meat was tender and flavorful but everything didn't add value. Taco only came with onions and cilantro. No Pico de gallo or shredded cabbage. Disappointing. They're also not generous with the salsa. No bueno!! Never again.

Best place to go just went today and the food was amazing the serving was big didn't expect that much food but it's was worth it really recommend it

I used to love going to Castaneda’s in Fountain Valley because of the great portions. When I moved to La Habra I was excited to give this place a try, but each time I’ve been it’s been disappointing. I used to love the shrimp burrito but this location doesn’t clean the shrimp. I ordered a machaca burrito today and the quality was terrible. Also, how do you make a machaca burrito dirty? Make it make sense! I know it’s fast food and I’ve been a line cook so I know it can be a monotonous job, but put some care into preparation. You’re gonna make your customers sick! 🤢
