Caspers Hot Dogs - Richmond

Wowowowowow!!! I’ve loved in Richmond for 10 years and just found this gem tonight. WHAT A TREAT! The dogs are epic, get mayo on the Chili dog, Dana and Chevy were the absolute best, and it was an ACTUAL magical experience.

Hotdogs are OK. Chili on the chili cheese dog was not very flavorful but they are generous with the toppings and the bun is nicely steamed. Best service I’ve had in the US. So friendly and kind. They treat you like family here, even as a first timer. Clean, super retro interior. Feels like it’s stuck in time in the best way possible.

I’ve been here several times now. Best location for a hot dog or hot link. Hands down. The prices are very reasonable, the taste is delicious, and the service by the people who put so much pride into their work is awesome. It’s one of several Caspers that is privately owned by a family. I definitely recommend anyone to come by this historic restaurant located in Richmond.

Great food, and an awesomely cheery and helpful staff. You cannot beat this place when you are in need of a few dogs. The old school decor only adds to the entire experience. Bravo!!

The food is so nostalgic. The same people have worked there for years. They have regulars, and that says a lot. Same food, same service over the years.
