Though the restaurant store front is being visually blocked by the M train construction, it was a great pleasure to venture into this spot. The spicy margaritas were phenomenal and the guacamole yum yum. I highly recommend taking a moment to check this spot when in Brooklyn. Being a bartender in the city, on my day off, this place was exactly what I needed... I gotta say, Juan has me on his Margarita.. definitely worth it. Cheers.

I happened to be on Myrtle Ave and decided to stop in to grab something quick to eat. It was my first time there but a very smart idea! The food was bussin and the margaritas were on point. Everyone was enjoying the music and the vibe was chill.

We stumbled upon Casa Maya while trying to fix a late night taco craving. The interior is quaint, yet cozy and inviting, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were seated immediately and given the menu. The menu isn't expansive, but covers all that one would need in a place like this. We started off with the chips and guacamole which is served in what I think is a fried tortilla bowl. It was FANTASTIC! The chips were fresh and perfectly crispy. We ate the entire appetizer, including the tortilla bowl. For entrees, we opted to try four different tacos, all of which were nothing short of fantastic. We got chicken, baja fish, carnitas (pork) and birria. Of the four, the standouts were definitely the carnitas and the fish. They just had something extra in them that made them top tie
