Another Desert Gem!!!! Authentic, delicious, and mouth watering ingredients. This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. Great service and humble staff. Great location with plenty of outdoor seating. Beautifully decorated with a warm pleasant atmosphere. It is located in the middle of a shopping center, so plenty to do before and after a day of shopping. I had the Enchiladas Tlaquepaque with a Mezcal paring of drinks. The Enchiladas looked and tasted home made. I ordered the 2 beef and 1 shrimp Enchiladas with red sauce; both proteins were great and appetizing. We celebrated my mom‘s birthday at Casa Luna this week. The restaurant accommodated our party of 12 on their ample, colorful patio. I chose this restaurant for my mom‘s party because I had eaten at Casa Luna before and enjoyed everything about it. The decor inside the restaurant is vibrant with unexpected touches, giving tribute to the owners’ roots in Guadalajara. I love the menu at this family-owned restaurant. Aside from typical Mexican food favorites , they serve a variety of dishes you won’t find in your typical Mexican restaurant, like Enchiladas Potosinas. He gave a bit of history about the restaurant, recipes, and his family - really cool guy!! The margarita sample was great. The four flavors are pineapple, guava, tamarind, and hibiscus. The tamarind margarita was suprisingly tasty and became my favorite. Per the owner's recommendation, I ordered the taco volcan, and my husband ordered the filete mariscado. Fantastic choices!!
