Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant

Being relatively new to the area, I’m constantly on the hunt for excellent, authentic Mexican food. Word-of-mouth recommendations are my usual guide, and Casa Grande came highly recommended by several people, so we made the drive from Prescott Valley to try it out. It proved to be an example of the adage that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Frankly, you would never stumble upon it just driving around. While the exterior and initial impression of the place might seem unimpressive at first glance, any reservations we had quickly vanished when Emma greeted us with a genuinely friendly smile and seated us right away. A great local restaurant with good food, good prices and friendly service. The happy hour only makes it better. The tacos are well stuffed with your choice of meat, beef, chicken, pork, fish and shrimp. The fish and shrimp tacos are $6 each, less than $4 during happy hour. Good margaritas too.

The food was delicious and the service was fast. Nice little local business. A little pricey but the serving size and quality of the food matched so no real complaints there. Will probably visit again and definitely recommend for anyone passing through Chino Valley.

Stopped in New Year’s Eve spur of a moment stop. Been awhile since we have eaten here. Well I had the Albondigas soup and wife had Pozole , Best choice we made that day. Super fresh and wonderful flavors. Great service we even ordered a couple of burritos to go for dinner the next day. Those also we very good. If you get a chance stop in try something new and I bet it will be great

I had a chicken taco with rice & beans. Which were good! Hubby ordered a red chili burro. It was half full with refried beans. That was not expected. We won't be back!!
