Casa Garcia's - Pflugerville

We went on a Thursday night. It was busy with the 6 o'clock dinner rush. Our server not very attentive, we had to flag her down several times to get her to come to our table. It took a long time for our drinks to come from the bar, they tasted very watered down. That was strike one. When our food came out they forgot the tortillas to go with the fajitas and it took a long time for those to be delivered. The Fajitas got cold waiting for the tortillas. Strike two. Also we didn't get all of our meals at the same time. It was 10 minutes later the last meal was delivered. Which was the stuffed avocado, It was not made like how I had it there before. It was just haphazardly thrown together. All of our food was tasted very bland, not like we have had in our previous visits. Strike three!

We stopped in for dinner, and I'm so happy we did! Food was great, service was great, and the vibe was great! We had the stuffed avacado (they let me try half with chicken and half with beef- I enjoyed the chicken more, but both were good!), and the carnitas (pork was tender and juicy). Drinks were priced decently as well! Will definitely be coming back! They have Keylime Pie Mints at the desk when you leave. Very interesting!

Food was great. When I want good food Casa Garcia's is always the place to go. Btw, I had taken a bite off of one of the tacos before taken the photo.

Amazing Mexican food! Loved the homemade tortillas and chips. Great service and good prices—highly recommend!

Ordered delivery because Chuy’s wasn’t taking orders. El Favorito - 6/10: Main meal. It was okay. Liked the chicken more than the beef. Mexican rice and refried beans were bland-ish but okay. Kids’ quesadillas - 5/10: Just okay. Good enough for the kid. Mac & Cheese - 0/10: Worst mac and cheese ever. Basically boiled pasta with no cheese. Nothing special overall. Didn’t hit the Tex Mex craving, and probably won’t try again.
