Driven past this place quite a few times. Decided to try it for Dinner last night. Food is not at all good. Edible yes, but not good and certainly not worth the price. The stuffed clams appetizer were can class (we asked) and the stuffing had very little to no flavor. I had the shortrib ravioli. The brown sauce tasted exactly like the powdered packs you but in the grocery store, the short rib meant was totally devoid of any flavored at all, and the mushrooms were so over cooled it was just a soggy mess. My wife had one of the pasta dishes. Same as my ravioli. Little to no flavor, tasted like the sauce was out of a store bought jar. About the only highlights were the service was good, and the people watching fun. The meal with tip was $95 that included 2 glass of wine (very smal
Came here on Saturday for a nice dinner, very surprised my wife never ate here before despite passing it for most of her life. Food: we ended up going with a Bavarian pretzel as an appetizer which was an awesome decision, but super filling. I ordered the stuffed shells and my wife got an eggplant dish which were both superb. Aesthetic: deceivingly nice, both small looking but seats a lot of people, and cool bar set up. Service: even though we were thrown in the side room, our waitress was quick to help us out once she realized that we were seated back there. Really good teamwork between all of the waitresses.
Had a phenomenal calamari appetizer and one of the best chicken parms I’ve ever had. Extremely clean, not too loud, welcoming and attentive staff…what more can you ask for? We will absolutely be back.
Nice food, large portions, friendly service, nice selection of drinks
As others have said, it's a quaint place that has not been updated probably since it's been open in 1983 but that's what gives it its charm. Multiple waitress waited on our table. I liked the team effort. 4% credit card fee. Extra charge for blue cheese dressing. Food was decent. We got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, they're not homemade but are of the higher end of brought mozzarella sticks. Chicken parm was two big pieces of chicken, just wish there was more cheese. Side of penne vodka was good and my husband enjoyed his tortellini Alfredo.
