Customer Reviews
Had an amazing lunch special of stuffed sopaipilla. I paired it with a fantastic margarita. The service was good, the atmosphere great. The company was the best! This was a special lunch reconnecting with an old high school friend. A reunion 30 years in the making.
I was super excited to go sit outside on the beautiful patio after a long day of work, but that didn't happen! I waited over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, asked to sit outside & was told it's already closed. Got sat next to the windows, which was covered in sun & hot as all heck in the restaurant. Waited another 10-15 minutes to order my drink and get it, not even a water while I was waiting. The salsa was disappointing, no flavor, no heat, nada. I ordered a side of Chicharrones & red chile, again, NO FLAVOR at all to the Chicharrones! I added so much salt just for flavor, but it really didn't help. Really disappointing all the way around, and 30 bucks!!!
I ordered two burritos today for $20. The chicharron burrito with cheese, Xmas, beans, and hash browns. You really going to charge me this much for a burrito that has TWO chicharrons in the entire burrito, no hash browns, tasteless chile, and just filled with beans?? I literally paid for a bean burrito with cheese and chile. Added onions just to have something in it. Can say I won’t be back.
Everyone was so friendly and treated our elder parents like special guests. Irma was a fantastic server; our orders were tricky and yet she accommodated each happily, so we could get all our desires met. Delicious shredded beef, red chile, adovada and rellenos. The live music was a sweet touch!
This place recently went up for sale and I really hope someone buys it. The food tastes homemade and authentic. I get the old fashioned enchiladas and they taste how my grandma made them. You can tell it is real chicken, homemade Chile and good quality cheese. I like anlot of other new Mexican restaurants in Albuquerque bit you can honestly tell some of the food may have been canned and this place is very much homemade. I need someone to buy it and keep it going please.
