Casa Cabana Restaurant

I attended a bridesmaid shower at Casa Cabana. The food was delicious, and the wait staff did a marvelous job taking care of our extra-large group. The nachos were fantastic!

Food was Excellent! Friendly service. Took awhile but it was worth it.

Ordered a medium rare steak on the Gene's special came out well done like shoe leather Didn't have any Heinz 57 Brother ordered chicken enchiladas and tacos Didn't put cheese on the tacos Enchiladas had like hormel chili on them (NASTY) They charge for extra chips and salsa (learned that from past visit) Then you go to check out (the owner didn't even have the ticket (attempted to charge what she wanted I called her out on it ) I told her I wanted to see the menu the server brought us She said she didn't know where a menu was She had some kind of list and tried to over charge ( over all experience was -10) Then she asked me where I was from I told her I live right around the corner and have lived in Winters about 5 yrs) She just couldn't believe I didn't enjoy my food (Maybe Health Dept ne

This is a great small-town Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is festive but relaxed. The food we had was amazing! The nacho platter was one of the best I've ever had! I think they double bake their nachos because they were crispy and each chip was covered in delicious toppings. The steak fajitas were also stellar. It was literally the best steak I have ever had for fajitas. They also have out-of-this-world salsa and homemade pies for dessert. Definitely a worthwhile stop in Winters, TX.

The restaurant was surprisingly bigger than what I expected. And was very clean. Unfortunately, although they do have a lot to offer in choice of dishes, the food itself leave much to be desired in taste. The portions are huge but the food is very blend. But please remember, this is only my opinion. And though I am a damn good cook in my own right, you should form your own opinion by going there yourself. Who knows. You might like eating there.
