Casa Azul Bed & Breakfast

We enjoyed our stay hosted by Katharina. She is an excellent host, kind and attentive. Our one night in her comfortable and clean B&B during a road trip in New Mexico was ideal. Katharina cooked us a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed interesting conversations with Katharina.|The bathroom was immaculate and the bed cozy. ||Bottom line: Casa Azul is first-rate.

Casa Azul is ideally located to visit the NRAO Very Large Array, located about an hour's drive to the east. I was there to attend the VLA open house. Katharina and her animals provided a warm welcome, comfortable home, good food and happy company. This is where I will stay the next time I'm in western New Mexico.

Excellent stay! Clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. I booked last-minute and they were very accommodating! My room was spacious and well-furnished. It even had a mini fridge for me to use! The owner has Cara, a dog, and baby goats!

Casa Azul's Bed and Breakfast accommodations were very clean, comfortable and homey. There are not many good options in the backcountry but thankfully there is Casa Azul. I arrived the day after a snow storm and the host knew the local restaurant was closed. She was very thoughtful and saved a dinner for me although it was not part of the reservation. The breakfast she made was very delicious and presentation was beautiful. She checked with me the night before on food allergies and preferences. The property was a home away from home and very peaceful. If I could stay for more days I would have! Thank you!

What a treat to stay at Casa Azul. We booked our stay based on the recommendations here, and we're so glad we did. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The bed linens are luxurious. Our window faced east, so we chose to wake with a stunning NM sunrise. There are horses, dogs, and cats. The animals are as respectful as host Katharina herself and in our opinion, added to the cosiness. There was early morning coffee, and the breakfast, featuring local eggs, was absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
