Caryville Inn

We stopped to eat at a magical place called Caryville inn, Oakfield. The waitress was exceptionally nice. All the food that we ordered was very delicious, including a gluten-free and vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

My family has been here before and they usually have good food. However that wasn't the case this time. We all ordered fish dinners. Fried and broiled. I also ordered new england clam chowder soup. We all thought our fish didn't taste very good. I don't really know why, as I don't know if it wasn't very fresh or if it was something else. I probably wouldn't go back but it might be really good for others.

Good food at reasonable prices. The server was friendly.

It was our first visit. I've been by there a hundred times, so it's about time! My steak salad was absolutely delicious and just as I requested. I loved the ice water carafe on the table. Decor is homey and tasteful. Can't beat 50¢ wings! We'll be back.

The food is pretty good here, however the customer service hasn’t been great. We often order take out and show up a few minutes after we were told our food would be ready. When we finally can get someone to check on the food they say they’ll “be right back” and disappear into the kitchen for another 20 minutes, after already having waited the estimated 30-45. I understand it gets busy, however this has happened to us multiple times at this point.
