If I can give 0 review I would do just that. My daughter went in for a small cake that we usually get from a different carvel but we're near spotswood. She was looking for a small cake and couldnt see any so she grabs a slightly bigger one to ask at the counter if they have a smaller one, she said this nasty old lady said no very arrogantly so my daughter went to look around more and the lady asked what she wanted to write on the cake and my daughter responds I'm looking for a bday cake. So the lady wrote on the bigger cake happy birthday and tells my daughter to pay $40. My daughter said I didnt ask you to write. The nasty lady snapped you already ruined the cake and made me make it dirty that I wrote on it for you. My daughter said I didnt ask you to. So she forced her to pay $40 for a

Woman is a scam artist. The menu says “Thick Shakes” with the all flavors listed, and the bottom showing the prices for a small, medium, or large. I order an Oreo cookie shake, which is a type of shake, and she tells me she has to upcharge me for the Oreo. I told her no, that’s not how it works, Oreo cookie is a type of shake, all shakes on the menu are the exact same price. She said no, vanilla is the base and I have to charge more for Oreo. Absolute scammer. Carvel should look into this.

Tonight was the last straw for me with Mrs. Ling, she would not accept my gift card that I received for my Birthday..She demanded cash.. Years ago, on top of this , she once made me use my daughter as collateral, due to she thought my $50.00 was fake as i went to get "smaller bills". Huge fan of Carvel and Mrs. Ling, but i was shaken down tonight. Shout out to my cousin for getting me "bogus"gift card..A for Effort!

Never ever go to this carvel. Terrible customer service. The store hour says 10pm on Internet but closes at 9.30pm. An old lady, almost forcefully, invited our family inside, sold soft serve saying thats only thing she sells, pressurized us to pay cash although we have a gift card and when we denied, she said only credit card would be accepted and immediately as we paid she pushed out of the store saying the store is closed and she needs to lock the door. I was almost shocked that someone can behave this way being a client facing store. They should consider replacing their staff with someone who has manners or shut the store. Never would I ever visit this carvel store again.

AWFUL experience. And old lady was extremely rude. She refused to allow us to sample any flavors, saying she “doesn’t allow” it, despite me being able to do so at other Carvel locations. She attempted to charge us $8.90 for a small cup of ice cream, which is listed at $6.49. When I asked why, she gave an unclear explanation about “high cream something” and insisted on the higher price, repeatedly pointing to the payment machine and saying, “pay here, here, here.” When I requested Cookies & Cream ice cream, she claimed the store didn’t have it and that my only option was to use the machine ice cream with a topping. I pointed out that the flavor was clearly visible in the freezer right in front of me. At that point, she began stuttering and served me with an obvious bad attitude. The cond
